HAM318 is the trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) working nonstop for the Addu City Reclamation works. After completion of approximately 76 Ha of Maradhoo reclamation on June 25, we currently continue with reclamation in Hithadhoo zone 2.

In this elaborate video captured by Mr. Faris, we can see HAM318 connecting with the floating pipeline. Then we are flying over the pipeline and across the stunning views and the clear blue waters of the inner reef of Hithadhoo island. We reach the first parts of the reclamation up to the location where sediment mixture is being discharged in order to fill the entire footprint of Hithadhoo zone 2.
