We would like to inform the citizens that the Addu City Reclamation and shore protection works project is nearing the dredging and reclamation phase. As part of the preparation works, there will be the transport of reclamation pipelines on the roads. Pipes will be carried on trailers using wheel loaders. During this time and in the upcoming months, there will be an increase in the movement of heavy machinery on the road. Please drive safely and be cautious while on the road.

Mid of this month, more vessels will be arriving for the project including two multicats. We would like to request fishermen, dive clubs, and other mariners to not come near the reclamation sites for safety reasons.
